How I Offer Therapy

I am able to offer face‑to‑face sessions, online counselling, or Teams appointments — giving you the flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable and accessible.

Face‑to‑Face Counselling

A calm, confidential space at Sawley Marina where you can sit, breathe, and talk at your own pace. Ideal if you prefer a grounded, private environment and the steady presence of in‑person support.

Online Counselling

Therapy from the comfort of your own home. Online sessions offer convenience, accessibility, and a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings without needing to travel.

Walk and Talk Therapy Along the Tow Path

Walk and Talk Therapy offers a gentle, natural alternative to the traditional therapy room. Moving side‑by‑side along the tow path at Sawley Marina can make it easier to open up, regulate emotions, and feel grounded in your surroundings.

This approach is ideal if you find it comforting to be outdoors, prefer a less formal setting, or feel more able to talk while walking. The steady rhythm of movement, fresh air, and the calm of the water’s edge can help you slow down, breathe, and explore your thoughts with greater ease. Walk and Talk Therapy is available for children, adolescents, and adults, and can be adapted to your comfort level and mobility needs.

What to Expect

Being heard by someone who will listen, in a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental environment, which enables us both to explore any issues which may be causing you confusion or distress, at your own pace.

  • Confidentiality
  • Someone who will listen without being judgemental
  • An opportunity to explore personal issues
  • Respect for your values and experiences
  • Support making your own decisions
  • Commitment
  • Work towards personal growth
